State Contracts
State governments have significant economies of scale in furnishing their agencies with opportunities to lease needed vehicles whenever leasing is preferred to outright purchase.
User agencies complying with the terms and conditions of the State Fleet's current vehicle leasing contract may choose from the classes and options as listed, which vary from State to State. Lease costs may also vary by choice of vehicle, optional equipment and lease time period, as determined by the State contract. State vehicle lease terms range from 12 to 36 months in duration.
Acme's experience with state (and county) governments helps reduce costs of vehicle acquisition and maintenance by incorporating state's existing facilities and infrastructure. Acme can help configure interchangeable vehicle upfits for seasonal tasks and multipurpose responsibilities.
Acme recognizes and incorporates specialized equipment needs. Installation of radios or other equipment inside or outside of the vehicle may be preapproved and/or preconfigured according to State Equipment administrators prior to shipment.
All lease units are expected to receive maintenance and service, depending upon the contract requirements. Regular preventative maintenance is typically required (5,000 miles or 6 months) to ensure upholding of the vehicle warranty, provided such service is performed by a facility authorized to perform the warranty repair. Acme maintains partnerships in both maintenance and damage repair with firms in all U.S. States.
